Dance Exam and associated prep class - booking is agreement to terms on booking

These bookings are for current Blarney Cork Dance Academy dancers only.

Only those ready to grade will be invited to do so.

Exam Date - possibly June 9th 2024 - yet to be confirmed.

You are agreeing to the following terms by booking/purchasing this item:

Fees cover exam entry and final prep class only.

Only dancers who attend regular classes may take exams. At minimum a 33.33% attendance of classes from April to July (ie minimum of every third class).

Only dancers whose term and exam payments are fully paid may take part in grade exams.

We only run exams when enough interest to cover the costs. As exams are pre planned 3 months in advance and judge/hall/costs already incurred, no refunds for pulling out of exams.

It is up to each dancer to practice enough to reach their grade exam level. Steps will be taught in class. 

It will require adequate class attendance and self home practice. 

With over 3 months notice, each dancer is required to put in enough practice to reach the competence level required for the grade. 

Practice only in class is not enough, you have to put in the time! 

Should you not reach the required level by the final prep class, you will not be permitted to take the exam and your fee will be forfeited.

Exams must be done in sequential order from Preliminary/grade 1 to grade 12.

You must have both the cert and marks sheet of each grade before you can progress to the next grade.

Teen/Adult dancers may take up to 3 grade exams at one time from grades 1 to 10.

Grades 11 and 12 must be taken separately.

Required for exams:

BDA/CDA embroidered logo top, comfy shorts/leggings/skirt, tights/poodle socks/black socks, correct dance shoes. 

No class or solo costumes are permitted.
